2024 Solar Eclipse

On April 8, 2024, we'll be closely following the solar eclipse over North America to monitor its impact on bird activity. If you have a BirdWeather PUC or BirdNET-PI station in or in the vicinity of the path of totality, we invite you to keep it active before, during and after the eclipse, so that we can collectively gather as much data as possible.

During the eclipse, you'll be able to follow along on the BirdWeather map at https://app.birdweather.com. Simply toggle the Solar Eclipse layer within the layers panel to view the path of totality and follow the progress of the eclipse.
